Day Two of the William Hill Ayr Gold Cup Festival is Ladies Day combining glitz and glamour with fantastic racing.

William Hill Ayr Gold Cup Ladies Day combines fantastic racing with lots of glamour and entertainment making this a day not to be missed.

The racing highlights include the Shadwell Stud /EBF Stallions Harry Rosebery Stakes , a Class 1 Listed race over five furlongs won in 2015 by Quiet Reflection who went on to win two Group 1s and several other Group races in an illustrious career.

The Al Maktoum Cup Arran Scottish Fillies Stake, also a Class 1 Listed race, will be run for the first time while the tension will reach fever pitch when the William Hill Ayr Bronze Cup is run.

This is the race that sees up to 25 finalists for our Best Dressed Ladies competition each draw a horse with the lucky lady who has the winning horse winning the fabulous first prize and there are also amazing prizes for second and third.

It's not just all about the ladies though, we will also have our fantastic Best Dressed Gents Competition on the day so make sure you are suited and booted for the occasion!

Throughout the day there is fabulous entertainment and after racing Kevin Simm, winner of the Voice in 2016 and formerly of Liberty X, will perform a 40 minute set and afterwards top dj Colin McArdle will play a set.

The White Band, an ever popular act at the Racecourse, will play for three hours after the last race in the Horseshoe Bar within the Club stand and are sure to fill the dance floor with their high energy set of covers.
