The 2019 William Hill Gold Cup Festival will have tremendous live entertainment across the all three days!

Saturday's Lineup

THE PRETEND BEATLES will play before and during racing in the Tennent’s In The Tent Marquee within the Grandstand. Take a trip down memory lane and enjoy the sounds of one of the best-selling acts of all time. This band are widely regarded as one of the finest tribute acts in the UK and have played at Beatles festivals all over the world.

 

DRUMS N ROSES will again be welcoming those entering via the main entrance at the front of the Racecourse. A fusion of rock, pop and Scottish music this creates an amazing pre racing atmosphere. 

 

 

Following the final race on William Hill Gold Cup Saturday we welcome THE BRIGHTSIDE to the stage in the Horseshoe Bar within the Club Stand. A top class function band they will play a set full of cover versions of some timeless classics.

 

 

COLIN MCARDLE is a DJ who is always a popular addition to the entertainment on major days at Ayr Racecourse and he never disappoints playing a set full of songs guaranteed to fill the dance floor. Colin plays for three hours after the last race in the Ayrshire Suite within the Grandstand.

 

 

ALCHEMY DUO are playing in the Hospitality Suite. Alchemy Duo are an outstanding professional acoustic duo whose love and passion for music is expressed through dynamic, eclectic variety of covers and unique rearrangements of some of the greatest hits through the decades right up to the present day.

 

 

THE BOURBON STREET JAZZ MEN will be playing throughout the afternoon on the Champagne Lawns and their traditional jazz sounds provide a hugely relaxing atmosphere.

 

 

 

There will also be a UNICYCLIST and STILT WALKERS out and about amongst the crowds, really adding to the fantastic atmosphere!

 

 

 

Friday's Lineup

 

The fabulous FLEUR EAST will be joining us for the William Hill Ayr Gold Cup Ladies Day where she will be performing an exciting DJ set after racing! Fleur rose to fame after appearing on the X-Factor and in 2015 her top song ‘Sax’ hit the UK top charts. Most recently she came fourth on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, and now we are thrilled to have her here at Ayr Racecourse for our Ladies Day to perform a DJ set with a mix of RnB, Hip-Hop and Pop!

 

 

Racecourse favourite DJ COLIN MCARDLE will be taking to the decks in the Ayrshire Suite after racing to perform a set of all your favourites, guaranteed to get the party atmosphere started!

 

 

There will also be STILT WALKERS out and about amongst the crowds, adding to the fantastic atmosphere.

 

 

 

After racing upstairs in the Horseshoe Bar within the Club Stand THE RIFFRESHERS will plug in and entertain you! There will be lots of huge hits to enjoy in the company of this exciting live act.

 

 

DRUMS N ROSES will be playing at the front entrance of the Racecourse to the crowds arriving. With a pool of some of the best pipers and drummers in Scotland, Drums N’ Roses play their unique mix of rock and pop and traditional Scottish music featuring world class performers.

 

 

THE RHYTHM KINGS are Ayr Racecourse favourites and will play in the Champagne Lawns. Formed from the cream of Scottish Dixieland Jazz musicians their unique blend of jazz and Dixieland blues always goes down well with those who attend our major racedays.

 

Thursday's Lineup

The fabulous FUSION take to the stage in the Horseshoe Bar within the Club Stand after racing on William Hill Doonside Cup Day. Playing a three hour set featuring their interpretations of some classic hits this in demand live band will have the dance floor packed!
